James Fusco is an APICS CPIM supply chain professional with 13 years of experience in the field. Starting at NV Perricone Cosmeceuticals, Jim held numerous positions in Supply Chain, including managing international order logistics, component buying and planning, and heading the Sales and Operations Planning process for the company.

Jim then moved to Yale-New Haven Health System as Capital Procurement Coordinator in charge of hundreds of millions of dollars in capital spend each year, negotiating an additional $1.5 million in capital cost avoidance in his first year. Jim then became Manager of the centralized Procurement department for the Health System, overseeing purchasing for everything across the System, including Pharmacy, med/surg, capital, and Purchased Services.

Jim then moved into Contract Management in the newly-formed Strategic Sourcing department, a department structure he helped create. After heading the non-clinical and Pharmacy contracting and procurement department, Jim moved into a more focused role over Facilities and Capital, where he now leads a team in charge of sourcing for all equipment (clinical and non-clinical) and facilities and construction projects.

Jim is also certified by AHRMM in Hospital Supply Chain Management (CMRP) and earned his MBA in 2020 from Southern Connecticut State University. He has been a presenter at the APICS national convention in New Orleans and the SAPICS national convention in South Africa.
